Private Orthodontic Treatment
We offer affordable, bespoke private treatment for both adults and children with the option of an in-house, interest free payment plan*.
Advances in discrete and invisible braces are allowing an ever increasing number of adults to have orthodontic treatment with minimum disruption to their daily lives. Parents sometimes opt for private treatment if their child’s case does not qualify them for NHS treatment, if they would like discrete braces or if they prefer appointments to be outside school hours.
Our private treatment plans are tailored to fit your individual clinical case and lifestyle. Using state-of-the-art techniques and materials, we make your transformation effective, efficient and pleasurable. We offer the latest technologies in fixed braces and invisible aligners along with flexible appointment times to fit around your other commitments, so you can enjoy the best orthodontic treatment with minimal inconvenience.
The Wedding Package
Many brides and grooms are increasingly putting straight, white teeth at the top of their wedding list, knowing that the memories and photographs of their wedding day will last a lifetime. Orthodontic treatment may seem expensive but - considering that the average cost of a wedding in the UK is now almost £20,000 of which £3,000 is spent on food alone - it can be an excellent investment, especially since the effects, just like wedding day memories, will last a lifetime.
If you are getting married and want a beautiful, white smile in your wedding photographs, consider opting for our Wedding Package. We combine your orthodontic treatment with a final tooth whitening to give you the perfect smile for your big day.

What is the difference between NHS and Private Treatment?
We can offer our private patients all aesthetic options in fixed brace styles, including inconspicuous clear and tooth colour braces as well as gold colour braces. We also offer In-Ovation C™, the latest technology in fixed braces and ClearStep™ aligners, the latest technology in discrete orthodontics.
In-Ovation C™ brackets use a free-sliding clip instead of an elastic band to hold the arch wire in place. The clip system puts less pressure on teeth, resulting in less discomfort and makes the braces easier to clean. Overall, In-Ovation C™ patients experience less chairtime, less discomfort and fewer office appointments than those with traditional style braces
The ClearStep™ method involves wearing a series of removable aligners made from clear plastic. The aligners are almost invisible when worn and can be removed during meals and sports so treatment causes minimal disruption to your lifestyle. You can find out more about different types of brace in the About Braces section.
We offer our private patients a wider range of appointment times, including early morning and early evening appointments, to better fit in with their other commitments. Lastly, as a private patient you have the option of having problems treated that are not serious enough to meet NHS guidelines but are nonetheless important to you or your child.
Please be aware, we value our NHS patients just as much as our private patients. We treat all our patients with the same care and expertise and, whether NHS or private, there is no difference in the standard of treatment given or the quality of the final result achieved. Our private treatment option is primarily available to allow adults access to orthodontic treatment and to allow parents the choice of discrete fixed braces and out of school appointment times.
Why might an adult need orthodontic treatment?
In addition to the orthodontic problems outlined in the About Orthodontics section, adults who did not previously need orthodontic treatment may develop age-related conditions. Orthodontics can help to solve these by remedying crowding or drift due to age and by moving teeth prior to crown or bridgework.
Age is not usually a limiting factor. The position of the teeth, the type of bite and the condition of the teeth and gums are more important. Any existing problems with the teeth or gums, such as tooth decay or gum disease, will need to be treated before orthodontic treatment can start.
Do you offer private treatment for children?
Yes. If you or your child would prefer less visible braces or appointments out of school hours, private treatment may be a suitable choice.
It will depend on the complexity of your particular case and the treatment method that you choose. Orthodontic treatment may seem expensive, but it is important to keep in mind that the benefits last a lifetime. We offer the option of an in-house, interest free payment plan* if you would like to spread the cost of treatment. To find out how much your treatment would cost, please contact us to book a consultation. At this visit, the Orthodontist will make a thorough assessment by examining your face, mouth and teeth. We may also need to take x-rays, tooth impressions and photographs. We will then provide you with a full written report containing your clinical assessment and treatment options, including estimates of duration and any associated costs.
If you decide to go ahead with treatment, we take a deposit at your next appointment. For the remaining amount, you can choose whether to pay upfront or take advantage of our interest free payment plan*, which spreads the cost over the length of your treatment.
Whether or not you choose private treatment, rest assured that we provide the same high standard of patient care and clinical excellence to both our NHS and private patients.
